Business Issue: The client needed to automate the movement of unit test-data from manufacturing cell test-stations to a central Oracle based storage system which services manufacturing and distribution world wide; the objective was to streamline the process and ensure that transformed test-data was available for subsequent steps of the manufacturing process.
 
The Comdyn Group Solution: An MS SQL 2000 based application to migrate and transform the data between the two data stores on a near-real-time basis.  The application featured an ASP.NET user interface and Reporting Services interfaces to review application status and histories of migrated data.  Data Exceptions are logged and resolved prior to release to the centralized Oracle data store.
