Manufacturing Tool Company

Business Issue: This tool Company required a centralized reporting system to provision business metrics for sales, order and inventory figures.

The Comdyn Group Solution:  A system to extract data from the Unix Sales Order and Inventory processing system, and then merge it into a data warehouse created on SQL Server. 

We created a .Net browser based interface using Visual Studio.Net, which in turn utilizes SQL Reporting Services via URL Access to generate Sales, Order and Inventory reports. 

The system also includes a quote generation feature, which picks up quotes initiated in the UNIX system, and provides users with a flexible mechanism for formatting and automatically generating dynamic PDF output.
